Beverly Jean Sajdyk

Beverly Jean Sajdyk (nee Jackson) lost her battle with cancer on Friday, January 10, 2025.

She is survived by her loving children, Kristy (Ken) Kawa, Doug (Katelyn) and Joe Labresh; grandchildren, Samantha, Jackson, Carter, Niko and Crew; mother, Yvonne Jackson; siblings, Bea, Joanne and Patricia; numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and her 4 cats.

Preceded in death by her father, Larry Jackson, sister Donna Jansen and brother Richard Jackson.

Bev was born on Tuesday, November 17, 1964 in Hammond, Indiana at St. Margaret Hospital and was a 1983 graduate of Gavit Jr./Sr. High School. She had many jobs over the years, but for the last 10 years she really enjoyed working at Image First, were she made lots of friends and proved to be a valuable employee.

She truly enjoyed spending time with her family and Saturday family game nights were her favorite!

Bev was a proud mother of 3 and grandmother of 5, that she loved watching grow.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025 from 10am-12:00pm at Woodmar United Methodist Church 7320 Northcote Ave. Hammond, Indiana 46324.
Service will follow at noon.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Bev’s favorite charity, The American Cancer Society- Making Strides Division in her name. The Making Strides against Breast Cancer Organization really took care of her during her battle with breast cancer in 2015.
