Beverly Jean Lakatos (Gardow)

Beverly Jean Lakatos (Gardow), 78 of Crown Point, IN was called home to her Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ  surrounded by her loving family on November 18th, 2021. Beverly was born to Gustav & Anna Gardow on March 8th, 1943 in East Chicago. Loving Mother to Rhonda (Willie) Goodwin, Son Robbie (Leslie) Lakatos & Daughter in Law Christina (Christopher) Lakatos-Holst. Grandmother to Tricia Lakatos, Jordan Goodwin, Tiffany Holst, Tori Holst and Cody Goodwin. Great Grandmother to Elias Brewster. She is survived by Sisters Carol Sambor and Shirley McKnight and adored nieces and nephews. Beverly was greeted in Heaven by her parents Gustav & Anna, her beloved son Ryan David Lakatos and brothers: William, Robert, Werner, Richard and Ronald Gardow. 

Throughout her entire life she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her. Beverly brought a light so great to this world, that even after her passing, the light will remain. 

Visitation will be Friday, November 26, 2021 at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Rd (one block south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN, 46322 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Funeral Service will be Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Burial at Chapel Lawn Cemetery.
