Billy Garner

Billy Garner born September 30, 1981, of Griffith IN, passed away on February 21, 2025, at the age of 43. He was a graduate of Edison Jr. Sr. High in 2000. Billy had a one of a kind soul, and was always eager to help those in need. He touched so many lives and never left you wondering how important you were to him. His smile and quirky laugh could light up a room. He enjoyed the simplest things in life, whether it was camping at Indiana Beach, going to concerts, church, playing cards with family, or just hanging out with family.  

In 2006, he married the love of his life Pamela Garner, and they been married happily for 18 1/2 years. They have two children, a daughter Kayla and a son Josh. They also have four grandchildren. He always made every second count. Billy was a loving son, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He will be truly missed by everyone whose lives he touched.

Billy is survived by his wife Pam, daughter Kayla, son Josh, mom Gayla Garner, dad Jerry Hurd, sister Kimberly Garner, four grandkids, and many aunts, uncles, cousins,  nieces and nephews.

Billy will be reunited in heaven with his brothers Chris and Arthur Garner, sister Shelley Garner, cousins Rachel King and Marvin Hurd, grandparents Edward & Dorothy Smith, Elbert & Virginia Hurd. Billy will be leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and a spirit that will shine on our hearts forever.

There will be a Memorial Service for Billy on March 8, 2025 at Crown Point Christian Village, 6685 E. 117th Ave, Winfield IN 46307 from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
