Bobby C. Heflin

Bobby C. Heflin, 75, of Hessville, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2019.  He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Virginia; six children, Melody (Scott) Farley, Dennis (Russ) Heflin, and J.C. (Cheryl) Heflin, Rhonda (Randy) Warren, Renae Call, and Rhoda (James) Zasytis, and two brothers, Jerry (Joni) Brown & Benny Heflin.  He was the proud grandfather of 23 grandchildren, and 31 great-grandchildren, and had numerous nieces and nephews.  Many others also referred to him as "PaPa."  Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, J.W. & Vernie Brown; three children, Duane, Kimberly, & Mimberly; three grandsons, Caleb, Patrick, & Frankie; and four brothers, James, Billy, Raymond, and Amon.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Sunday, July 7, 2019, at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Road, Highland, Indiana 46322.  A Celebration of Life Service with Military Honors will be held at 3:00 PM at the funeral home, immediately following visitation.  Pastor Dan Nichols, officiating.

Bobby was a member of First Christian Church of Hessville, Indiana. He loved spending time with his grandchildren - the loves of his life - and enjoying the outdoors, working in his garden.
