Carolyn Crawford Obituary
Carolyn Sue Crawford (Haynes), age 76 of Indiana, (formerly of Littleton, Colorado) left this earth to be with the Lord on the evening of Monday, February 10, 2025. She was born on January 15, 1949 in Beverly, Massachusetts, daughter of the late Herbert Jr. and Olga (Killmer) Haynes. Carolyn was preceded in death by her brother Paul Schneider and beloved son, Simon Crawford. She is survived by her son and caregiver, Benjamin Crawford, sisters and brother: Donyce of Beverly, Massachusetts, Adrienne of Portland, Oregon, David of Houston, Texas and Sonya of Houston, Texas. Left to cherish Carolyn's memory are several nieces and nephews.
Carolyn retired from a very fulfilling career as an ER nurse. She was musically talented and could play the piano by ear. Carolyn was a fan of Lucille Ball. She always had a funny story to share. In her retirement, she enjoyed watching home improvement shows on TV, playing scratch-off lottery tickets and talking to her sisters on the phone. One highlight of Carolyn's retirement was traveling the county with her son Ben in his semi truck.
Carolyn was a kind and giving woman who had an unwavering dedication to her two sons. She will be greatly missed by her loved ones.
Carolyn will be cremated and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
