CATHERINE RUTH BLACK, age 92, born November 17, 1929 in Morgan Township, Porter County, IN, died September 9, 2022, Calumet Township, Lake County IN. Daughter of Russell E Danielson and Mabel P Shupe. Oldest of 7, preceded by her parents, and siblings: Rita A Danielson of IN, Steven A Danielson of SC, Jeanette J Feathers of NC, Wilma G Allensworth of CA. She is survived by sister Marjorie I Danielson of ID and brother Peter E Danielson of TX, also, son Randall E Black (wife Lisa), grandchildren Nicholas Black & Eleanor Black, son Curtis R Black, daughter Robin R Black, all of IN. She also is survived by 5 nieces: Susan Reid, Sherie Piotrowski, DeAnna Palermo, Tambra Stepp, Joyce Matoon and 7 nephews: Larry Lein, Mark Danielson, Mike Danielson, Jeff Allensworth, Russell Redmon, Steven Redmon, Guy Danielson, Preceded by nephews: Michael & Daniel Thompson, and niece Sandra Kelleher. Interment will be at Adams Cemetery, Valparaiso, IN.
