Charles Edge, age 74, of Crown Point, IN, passed away Saturday 13, 2020. He is survived by his wife Linda: daughters Laurie (Brandon) Mann and Amy Kopack; granddaughter Ainsley Kopack; nephews Joseph (Debra) Messino, Mark (Jackie) Underdahl, Jeffrey (Tara) Underdahl, and niece Virginia Messino.
Chuck was born on September 7, 1945 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He was married to Linda at Ross Reformed Church on November 4, 1967. They were married for 53 years and had two daughters and one granddaughter. He served in the United States Army in Vietnam in 1968 and 1969. He worked as an Ironworker for Local 395 for over 50 years. Chuck owned and operated Horseshoe Mobile Home Park in Hobart Indiana for 31 years. For almost 60 years he restored, collected & built classic cars & street rods in his spare time.
Visitation will be held at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center 8941 Kleinman Rd. (one block south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN 46322, Tuesday June 16th from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm with a service officiated by Pastor Shawn Gerbers at 6:00 pm. Everyone is invited back to Linda’s house at 81 N. County Line Rd. Crown Point, IN 46307 after the visitation for refreshments.
