Charlotte Hartman Gomolski

Charlotte Hartman Gromolski, age 77, peacefully passed away in her home on Tuesday, November 25, 2025.

She is survived by her loving daughters Jennifer (Scott Wathen) and Janet Gomolski, grandchildren, Genavieve Gifford, Kenneth Wathen, and Kassandra Wathen; siblings the late Raymond (late Dolores) Hartman, the late Albert (Patronella) Hartman, and George (late Joann) Hartman.

She was the loving daughter of the late Cecil and Josephine Hartman. She was also the loving wife of late Kenneth Gomolski.

Char was born on November 9, 1948 in Chicago Heights, IL. She graduated from Bloom High School. She then went on to marry the love of her life Kenneth Gomolski, on August 28, 1976 Char worked for Walt's Food Center in Crete, IL, for over 30 years as the bakery manager. 

She enjoyed her job, taking care of her family and others. She enjoyed most of all being the best NaNee to her grandchildren.

Char was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, Aunt, and friends and will truly be missed by all whose lives she touched.

Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Rd (one block south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN, 46322.
