Cheryl Ann Qualls

Cheryl Ann Qualls age 78, passed away February 21, 2025. She is survived by her children, Marchele (Larry Hagmann) Gonzalez and Marlena Faye Qualls; grandchildren, Melissa (Russell Cronister) Speed, Melinda Maneno, Edward Owens, Tommie (Courtney) Qualls and Morgan (Jajuan) Qualls; and seven great-grandchildren.

Cheryl was born on May 4, 1946 in Gary, IN to the late Michael and Luella Roberts. She was a 1965 graduate of Calumet High School and worked as a custodian at Griffith High School.

Cheryl was a loving grandmother and great-grandmother and was the biggest animal lover. She liked to fish, watch old movies, and enjoyed the great outdoors. Cheryl will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be Friday, February 28, 2025 at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Rd (one block south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN, 46322 from 9:00 am to 11:30 am with a Funeral Service at 11:30 am.

Interment to follow at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville, IN.
