Christian Michael Tiemens

With the deepest heartfelt love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Christian Michael Tiemens at the age of 31, on Tuesday May 13, 2025, in Merrillville, Indiana.

He is survived by his mother, Dawn M. Kelly (Bacon-Fenes), stepfather, Scott C. Kelly, sister, Kaitlyn M. Tiemens, grandmother Ginger (Virginia) Bacon- Fenes, grandparents, Stephen (Jan) Fenes, grandfather, Larry Hott, stepparents Greg (Renee) Tiemens, grandparents Jerry (Linda) Tiemens; and countless aunts, uncles, his cousin like a true brother Aaron Cunningham plus all additional cousins and dear friends.

Christian was born December 14, 1993, in Munster, IN. He graduated from Highland High School and later graduated from Purdue with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. While he lived in a few different towns, Highland, IN was his home.

He was a loving son, brother, grandson, and a true friend to all that knew him and loved him. Christian was always there to brighten your day with his infectious smile, laugh and quick-witted humor.

He will be dearly missed each and every day and may he fly with the angels and watch over all of us with amongst all of his other family members we have lost.

At the wishes of the family, a celebration of life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers or gifts to the family, please donate to your favorite charity in honor of Christian Michael Tiemens.
