Clemente Martinez, age 90, peacefully passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2026.
Clemente was born November 23, 1935 in Comerio, Puerto Rico. He issurvived by his loving children Luz Migdalia Rodriguez (Luis), Clemente Jr Martinez (Marisol), Iris Nereida Martinez, Leida Ipina (Sergio), Nancy Martinez, and Ricardo Martinez (Leslie); 14 grandchildren Annmarie Rodriguez, Yadira Perez (Norberto), Joshua Rodriguez (Kathy), Nadia Gonzalez, Almaris Garcia (Pedro), Jonathan Martinez, Nahir Medina (Christian), Alex Ipina (Yesenia), Zachary Figueroa, Arielys Ipina, Meraris Rodriguez, Ashley Snyder (Russell), Elijah Martinez, and Natalie Martinez; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents and wife Luz Milagros Martinez. He was a proud veteran who served our country in the U.S. Army. He retired from Union Tank Car Company in East Chicago, Indiana. His favorite bible verse was Psalms 91.
The family has chosen to hold a private viewing and burial to honor their loved one.
