Clifford G. Ruse

Clifford G. Ruse of Griffith, IN born January 10, 1954 passed away suddenly on January 24, 2022, at 68 years old.  He is preceded in death by his parents Clifford and Melba Ruse.  He is survived by his siblings: Daniel Ruse(Patricia), Sandy Ruse,
and Chris Ruse(Nicole).  His daughters: Heather Clay(Donald), Shannon Ruse(Amrik), Leslie Lair(Chuck), and Kasey Rodell.  His grandchildren: Evangeline, Zebulun, Alexis, Daxton, Zander, Cameron, Katherine, A.J., Matt, Abbey, Chase, Molly, Breonna, and Zachary.  His nieces and nephews:  Stacy Ruse(Samara), Erin Dapshis(Shane), John Frisby(Stephanie), Ashton Ruse and Katelyn Ruse. His Aunt Viola Reid(Rodney). 
Cliff worked for Clean Harbors until his death.  He was a proud and active member of the Elks Lodge 981.  His favorite pastime was joking with everyone and sharing food and drinks with family.  He loved having anyone and everyone over for holidays and pool parties.  He truly enjoyed the company of those he surrounded himself with. He found joy in seeing his grandchildren play sports and of course spoiling them rotten! There were no rules at papa’s house and definitely no crying in America!  He will forever be missed by his friends and family!

A visitation will be held Monday, January 31, 2022 at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Rd (one block south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN, 46322 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
