Cora B. (Long) Farrenkopf

Cora B. Farrenkopf (nee Long), 95, of Valparaiso, formerly of Munster, passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021 peacefully at home. Cora was the loving mother of Robert Segally (Sandra), Ronald Segally (Carla), Richard Segally (Joan), Randal Segally (Sharon), and Rory Segally (Juanita); cherished grandmother of eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Cora retired from Metron Steel and was a volunteer at the Community Hospital in Munster. Cora loved baking, reading, crocheting and traveling. She had a multitude of dear friends and touched the lives of  many people. She will be dearly missed.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, September 3, 2021 at 9:30 am. at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 500 Northgate Drive, Dyer, Indiana, with Fr. Leonardo Gajardo, officiating. Burial ceremony at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, with Fr. Niblick officiating. Visitation will be at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Road, Highland, Indiana on Thursday, September 2, 2021 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Abraangels.com (All Breed Rescue Angels) of Crown Point.
