Cynthia Marie Novosel, age 74, passed away on January 30, 2026
Born on June 2, 1951, in Hammond, Indiana, Cynthia was the daughter of Chester and Berniece Bolanowski and grew up in Calumet City, Illinois. She graduated from Thornton Fractional North, Class of 1969.
Cynthia was a devoted mother to: Bridget Jaeger (Tony), Ryan Novosel, and Jason Novosel. She found great joy in her role as a grandmother to Ashley Kielminski, Jason Novosel, Jr. (Samantha), Joshua Kielminski, Jasmine Holden (Devin), Jacob Kielminski, Jalen Rodriquez (Justin), and Joey Novosel. Her love extended further as a great-grandmother to Aiden, Mavis, Brooklyn, Theodore, Isabella, Henry, Jubilee, and Ritchie. She is also survived by her brothers, Robert, Daniel, and Ron Bolanowski.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Jerry Bolanowski.
Her memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her. May her legacy bring comfort and peace to those whose lives she touched.
A memorial will be held at a later date.
