Cindy Woltzen, age 72, sadly but peacefully passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2026.
She is survived by her children: Brent Woltzen Sr. and Christen (Eric) Fette; grandchildren: Brent Woltzen Jr., Blake Fette, and Victoria Fette; siblings: Marcia (Paul) De Boer, Sandy Johnson, and Brenda (Steve) Van Dommelen; and numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Alice Beukema.
Cindy was born the eldest of three sisters on November 17, 1953, in Chicago, Illinois, and graduated from Illiana Christian High School. She went on to work as a legal secretary for 53 years, and in the last 20 years of her career, she worked for John M. Kopack, as well as being a longtime member of Munster Christian Reformed Church. She enjoyed seasonal decorating, gardening, watching Hallmark movies with a cup of coffee, frequent shopping trips with her sister Sandy, and most of all, spending time with her precious grandchildren.
She was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, aunt, and grandmother. With her, we shared many laughs and tears as well. Cindy was what someone would call a real example of biblical love and grace. With every contagious smile, you could sense her charm. It is that gorgeous smile that we will mourn with each day that passes. She is forever loved and will be missed always.
Visitation for Cindy will Friday, January 23, 2026 from 2:00pm - 6:00pm at Hillside Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Road, Highland, Indiana 46322.
