Dale Van Vuren Obituary
Dale Van Vuren, age 65, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2025.
He is survived by his significant other, Deborah Hofferth; siblings, Raymond (Monique) Van Vuren, Marilyn (Jim) Slager and Lois (Lyle) Kamminga; sister-in-law, Laurel Van Vuren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by parents, Allen and Frances Van Vuren, sister Beverly (Rich) Shew and brother David (Laurel) Van Vuren.
Dale was born in Harvey, IL on August 12, 1960. He graduated from Illiana Christian High School and attended some college. Dale spent most of his working years as a truck driver for various companies. While living in Kentucky he also worked for Carhartt. He enjoyed doing anything outdoors, parachuting, gardening, collecting rocks and fossils, using his metal detector at the beach and his hobby of building beautiful birdhouses.
A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date.
