Daniel Jaime

With deep sorrow yet enduring hope, we announce the passing of Daniel Jaime, who went to be with the Lord on September 22, 2025, surrounded by those he loved. Daniel’s life bore the mark of faith, he knew Jesus Christ with all his heart, and he never hesitated to share that joy with others.

To his family, he was Dad, Pops, brother, uncle, and loving son. He is survived by his children, Tiago Daniel (Megan) Jaime and Daniel (Suji) Ortiz; his grandchildren, Tiago Jr., Gabriel, Stella, Emilia, and Zainab; and by Magdalena Morales mother of Tiago, cherished friend, and former wife. He also leaves his mother, Aida Jaime, his siblings Adiel, Wilson, Maria, Joey, and Anthony, his beloved Jessica and her son Aztin, and many extended family members. He now rests with his father, Adiel Jaime, who went before him.

Born on August 17, 1968, in Chicago, Daniel lived a life full of energy and generosity. A graduate of Senn High School, he devoted more than 20 years to Jiffy Lube, where he was affectionately known as Boss Man. He led not only with skill, but with kindness, humor, and a genuine care for those he worked alongside.

His joy was found in the everyday treasures, time with his sons, the laughter of his grandchildren, lending a helping hand, and restoring cars with a craftsman’s devotion. His smile, quick wit, and warm presence lifted the spirits of those around him.
Above all, Daniel’s heart belonged to Jesus Christ. His words, his courage, and his life were a living invitation for others to know the Savior he loved. He leaves behind not only memories, but a legacy of faith, generosity, and joy that continues in the lives of those he touched.

He will be forever loved and deeply missed.Visitation will be held on Thursday October 2, 2025 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Road (one block south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home
