Dareen (Di) (McCumber) Bellamy

Dareen (Di) (McCumber) Bellamy, 77, passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2025. She was born January 30, 1948 in Thermopolis, Wyoming to the late Dare and May McCumber. After college, Di moved to Northwest Indiana to marry her husband, Richard Bellamy. Eventually they settled in Griffith, IN where they raised their three children.

She was the beloved mother to Carrie (Robert) Hathorne, Eric (Virginia) Bellamy, Kenneth Bellamy, and Connie Parham. She was proud grandmother to Jordan, Kylar, Makenzie, Cambri, Jenna, Zerrick, Connor, Arlea, Addie, Carolyne, and Espen.

Dareen was the sister of Don McCumber of Wyoming and Linda Brost of Wyoming. Cherished by many nieces and nephews.

Dareen loved her Wyoming roots and carried her southwestern decor in her homes and style. She loved her grandchildren immensely and cherished her time with them. Dareen was a spark of energy that she will carry on through her children and grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2025 beginning at 2:30pm followed by a Funeral Service at 6:30pm with Chaplain Rob Dorow officiating at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Rd (one block south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN.
