David Arambula Jr., 43, of Burns Harbor, Indiana, passed away on August 22, 2025.

Born on November 22, 1981, David was the beloved son of David and Rosa M. Arambula. He grew up surrounded by love and support from his family throughout his life.

David had a smile that could light up a room, if anyone ever needed something, he was the first to step in to help. His kindness and willingness to give of himself will always be remembered.

He leaves behind family who loved him deeply, including his parents; sisters, Yolanda (Dale) Luehrs and Cecilia Arambula; brother, Miguel (Vanessa) Arambula; and nieces and nephews—Kassandra (AJ) and their daughter Rosie, Isaac, Joshua, Becky, and Angie. He is also remembered by his children, Liliana and David.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents on both sides, who now welcome him with open arms.

David’s memory will live on through his family and friends who will remember him for the love, laughter, and spirit he shared during his life.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 28, 2025 at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Rd (one block south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN, 46322 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, August 29, 2025 at Carmelite Fathers, 1628 Ridge Rd, Munster, IN, 46321 at 10:00 am. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL.
