David McCoy Jr.

David McCoy Jr., 74, of Griffith, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2020.  He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years April, beloved children: David Monroe (Nancy L.) III McCoy, Dawn (Jeff) Renner, Mike (Tilly) McCoy, Scotty Ellis, Denise (Shannon) Manger; 12 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, sister: Jean Parks, and numerous additional loving family and friends.  David was preceded in death by his loving parents David and Helen. 

Visitation will be held Monday, June 22, 2020 at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Rd (one block south of Ridge Rd), Highland, IN, 46322 from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm.  A family lead Celebration of Life Service will be held immediately following, beginning at 6:30 pm.

David was retired from LTV Steel after 38 years of service.  He was a member of the NRA, an avid gun collector, he enjoyed classic automobiles, and staying fit riding his bike.
