David was born January 15th, 1962 in Bellaire, Ohio. He graduated in1980 from Griffith High School in Griffith, IN. He was involved in theater, wresting, and football throughout his high school career. Shortly after, he met the love of his life and lifelong "secret" admirer, Deetra and they were married on August 29th, 1987. Together they shared 37 years of marriage, settling in Griffith to raise their family. He worked as a heavy machine operator at Calumet Steel for 11 years before becoming disabled. He enjoyed playing video games, listening to/sharing music, watching sports, collecting Imperial glass, and being with family. Although he lived in Indiana most of his life, a big part of him never left "The Valley". He was the most kind, loving, funny, goofy, and compassionate person, who touched the lives of anyone he met. He will be missed dearly by all.
