David A. Wells
March 6, 1942 – March 24, 2021
David A. Wells, of Crown Point, IN, passed from this world to the next, completing his lifelong journey to Heaven on March 24, 2021. 

A quiet and unassuming man, David loved the Lord and his family and will be remembered for his years of dedicated Christian Service and community outreach and engagement as well as for the many lives that he directly and indirectly impacted. David never met a stranger and was always willing to help those in need. He served as a deacon, Sunday School teacher, Awana leader, and youth leader at Lake Hills Baptist Church in Schererville. Over the years, he also spent a great deal of time serving in Courtside and Door of Hope Ministries among others. 

David was a die-hard Cubs fan and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, travel, playing games, model building, and vintage television. 

Preceded in death by his parents, Charles F. Wells and Margaret C. Wells (Roberts) of Hammond, IN, and Grass Valley, CA, and by both of his brothers, Raymond P. Wells, of Grass Valley, CA, and Charles F. Wells, of Hammond, IN; David is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Paula K. Wells (Tinsley), son, David A. Wells, Jr., of Chicago, IL, daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen M. Pazanin (Wells) and Glenn. S. Pazanin, of Merrillville, IN, son and daughter-in-law, Bruce W. Wells and Kimberly S. Wells (Koke), of Wanatah, IN, and three grandchildren, Zachary A. Pazanin, of Merrillville, IN, Bryce W. Wells, of Wanatah, IN, and Katelynn M. Wells, also of Wanatah, IN. 

David’s family will be hosting a wake at the Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Road, Highland, IN, 46322, on Tuesday, March 30, 2021, from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm. 
Funeral Services will be held at Lake Hills Baptist Church, 9202 W. 85th Ave., Schererville, IN 46375, on Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at 10:00 am.
