Dawn Verduzco, age 59, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family after a courageous battle with illness.
Born on July 28, 1966, Dawn lived a life defined by kindness, strength, and deep love for her family and friends. She had a gentle spirit and a warm heart that touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. Dawn’s caring nature, beautiful smile, and ability to make others feel welcome and loved will be remembered always.
Family meant everything to Dawn. She cherished time spent with her loved ones and took great joy in being present for both the everyday moments and life’s special milestones. Her presence brought comfort, laughter, and warmth to those around her, and the memories she created with family and friends will be treasured forever.
Dawn’s courage and grace throughout her illness were an inspiration to those who walked beside her during her journey. Even in the most difficult moments, she showed remarkable strength and unwavering love for the people in her life.
Dawn is survived by her beloved husband, Keith Verduzco; her sons, Josh Stone and Jason Stone; and her cherished grandchildren, Emma Stone, Jason “JJ” Stone, Christian Stone, and Penelope Stone, who brought tremendous joy to her life. She is also survived by her loving mother, Sandra Ayala, and her brother, Dan Long.
She was preceded in death by her father, Daniel Long Sr.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Dawn’s life on March 14, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Hillside Funeral Home, 8941 Kleinman Road, Highland, Indiana 46322.
A luncheon will follow from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Clubhouse located at 1821 Great Lakes Drive, Dyer, Indiana 46311, where loved ones will gather to share memories and celebrate her life.
Dawn will be remembered for her beautiful heart, her strength, and the love she gave so freely. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
