Debbie Ooms

Debbie Ooms, 66, passed away Thursday, September 18, 2025. She is survived by loving husband of 46 years, Thomas Ooms, children TJ (Bree) Ooms and Karyn Ooms. Grandchildren, Tommy, Jace, Edyn, Owen, and Nash. Brothers Doug (Judy) and Scott (Deb) Rottier, and many other extended family members. Preceded in death by parents John and Effie Rottier.

Debbie had a beautiful and meaningful life. She was always positive and happy. Debbie loved bird watching, hallmark movies, needle work, and reading. Debbie's greatest and happiest moments were spent with her family and being a grandmother, mother, sister, and wife. Debbie was a proud member of Community United Reformed Church.

Visitation for Debbie will be Monday, September 22, 2025 at Community United Reformed Church, 8405 Alexander St, Schererville, IN, 46375 from 3:000 pm to 8:00 pm. The funeral will be at the church on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at 9:30 am.

Memorials can be sent to Highland Christian School, Illiana Christian School, or Gideons.
