Deborah "Debbie" Gizynski Obituary
Deborah “Debbie” Suzanne Gizynski, 67, of Griffith, passed away December 15, 2025. She was born in Hammond, Indiana and raised by her father and stepmother.
She is survived by her three children, 4 grandchildren, her stepmother, half-sister and niece.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Kroslack and grandson, Sebastian Ozment.
Debbie will be remembered for her deep love of animals and, as a nurse, her desire to care for those who were vulnerable, always doing the best she could with a generous heart.
In keeping with her wishes, no public services will be held. Her children and grandchildren will gather privately to honor her life and share memories close to their hearts.
Memorial contributions in Debbie’s name may be made to any local animal shelter of your choice.
