Dennis Minard

Dennis Minard, age 62, of Merrillville, Indiana passed away suddenly at home on Tuesday, November 29, 2022. He was born on September 8, 1960, in Hammond, Indiana. He is survived by his loving wife Betty, daughter JoAnna Harbaugh, daughter Elizabeth Minard, son William Minard, stepdaughter Heather Lakich, sister Deborah (Larry) Kristoff, brother Walter (Wendy) Minard, brother Brian (JoAnn) Minard, stepmother Frances Minard, stepsister Pamela Dingman, stepbrother Michael (Diana) Dingman, stepbrother Richard (Bernadette) Dingman, many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Preceded in death by mother Norma Bussie, father Marvin Minard, stepfather Richard Bussie, and stepmother Marvella Lopez.

Visitation will be held at Hillside Funeral & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Road (one block south of Ridge Rd), Highland, Indiana 46322 on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, from 2:00 pm until 5:30 pm. The funeral service will follow immediately at 5:30 pm. 

Dennis valued his family above all else. He loved the family cats, taking care of the lawn, and watching TV (especially the Rocky movies). He liked to clean and was always the first to clear the table after a meal. Dennis loved to call family and would often surprise them with a phone call whenever he got the urge. He kept lollipops in his pocket to share with others. Dennis was devoted to his wife Betty and was very proud of his children!
