Dolores Medwetz

Dolores Medwetz (nee Zaleski), 82, of Munster, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2020.  She is survived by her devoted children; Steven (Laura) Medwetz, Lynne Medwetz (Paul Sokoloski), adoring grandchildren; Christopher (Julie) Medwetz, Michael Medwetz, Monica Medwetz, Mary Medwetz, beloved great grandchildren; Lily Medwetz, Max Medwetz, loving brother; Tony (Diane) Zaleski, and many additional family and friends.  Dolores was preceded in death by her son; John Medwetz, mother; Victoria Zaleski, sisters; Michaelene Zaleski, Annette Malek, Frieda Gerbas, and Jenny Klobuchar.

A graveside service at St. John Cemetery, Hammond, Indiana will be held at a future date, please check back for details.

Dolores was a longtime member of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, Dyer, Indiana, and was the owner operator of Tony's Tavern in the Calumet Hotel, East Chicago, Indiana for many years.  In lieu of flowers donations to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, or St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Dolores's honor would be appreciated.
