Donald E. Heckwine Obituary

Donald E. Heckwine, 72, of Lansing, Illinois, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2020. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Sally, beloved daughter Denise (Dennis) DiSanto, loving granddaughters Alexandria and Cassandra DiSanto, caring brother John (Marsha) Heckwine, dear step-mother MaryAnn (Charley) Gaultney, many nieces & nephews. Donald was preceded in death by his parents John and Norma Heckwine, and sister Linda Scully.

Per the wishes of Donald, private family services will be held.

Donald was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Lansing, IL, Marine Corp Staff Sergeant veteran who performed two tours of duty in Vietnam, lifetime member of the VFW. It was a joy for Donald to be a frequent fan in the stands at his granddaughters athletic events.
