Donelle Jean Hightshoe

Donelle 'Danni' Hightshoe age 57, passed away on November 22, 2025.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Thomas Lee Palagyi; sons, Steven Palagyi and Skyler Byvoets; parents, David and Kay Hightshoe; siblings, Ryan Hightshoe and Dane Hightshoe; and former husband, Arien Byvoets.

Preceded in death by brother, Jason Hightshoe. 

Danni was born December 30, 1967 in Hammond, IN and attended Chesterton High School. She met the love of her life Tom when she was just 19 years old and they had their son, Steven. They eventually went their separate ways when Danni moved to Australia returning 25 years later to marry Tom on December 12, 2024. 

Danni enjoyed traveling, sewing, cooking, crocheting and watching the cooking and crime shows on television. 

She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend to many and will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2025 from 5-7pm at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Road (one block south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN.
