Donna Lee Lait

Donna Lee Lait passed away April 3, 2025. Beloved wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, and great-grandmother peacefully passed away at the beautiful age of 88.

Nanny or grandma as her grandchildren affectionately called her, is remembered and cherished by her three children: Joseph (Amalia) Lait (Nina, Nico), Pam Phillips (Heather, Carla), Lisa (Dave) Salomon (Lindsey, Mitchell, Ally Jo, Joey). As well as her great-grandchildren Jax and Kendall. In addition to her family, Donna will forever be adored by her nieces, nephews, and cherished by close friends.

Donna was a remarkable human being. She was born on January 15, 1937, and was married to her beloved late husband Joseph for 47 years, papa as his grandchildren affectionately called him.

Resilient, compassionate, and independent are just a few words to describe this truly one of a kind person. Donna enjoyed reading countless Nicolas Sparks and Jodie Macomber novels. She enjoyed relaxing and watching Jeopardy and the Price is Right. Donna also enjoyed a fresh cup of coffee while watching birds, geese, and ducks out her kitchen window. Donna also enjoyed bowling with friends.

Not a single moment of Donna Lait’s life is forgotten and she will be truly missed and remembered. Heaven gained an angel, and she is finally reunited with the love of her life. We love you and you will forever be in our hearts.
