Dorothy Lubarski

Dorothy Lubarski, age 82, of Saint John, IN, passed away Friday, March 13, 2020. She is survived by her husband, Ronald; daughter, Barbara (Frank) Gorczyca, sons Ron (Becky) Lubarski, Dave (MaryBeth) Lubarski, and Tom (Karen) Lubarski, daughter-in-law, Tanya Lubarski; grandchildren, Melanie (Kevin) Dzado, Frank Gorcyzca, David (Jacinda) Lubarski, Rachel Lubarski & Aaron Cameron, Zach Lubarski and Brenda Spencer, Maggie Lubarski, Marissa Lubarski and Devin  Morrow, Vaughn Lubarski, Madison Lubarski, and Heather (Mike) Gelon; great-grandchildren, Madisyn Wilson, Frankie and Mackenzee Gorczyca, Kayla Dzado, Gunner Wilson, Emily Dzado, Gianna Lubarski, Nyomi Lubarski, Rayon Lubarski, Madison Gelon, Brinley Gelon, Aubrey Gelon, and Brooklyn Gelon, and many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her son Garry Lubarski; parents Anna and Charles Bevan and Stanley Gajda, and her sister, Florence Balser.

Dorothy was married to Ron for 61 years.  Dorothy worked as a nurse for the better part of her working life.  She spent 38 years at the Methodist Hospitals working in various departments, ending her career in the ICU department. When Dorothy and Ron retired, they enjoyed traveling and bought a trailer in Ocala Florida, where they spent a great deal of time.

Visitation will be held at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Rd (one block south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN, 46322 on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, with the funeral service following immediately. Pastor John Hoffnaster officiating. Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Hammond, Indiana.
