Dorothy Rose Raymond

Dorothy Rose Raymond, 90, of Calumet Township, passed away Friday, February 19, 2021. She is survived by: three children Jeannine (Archie) Doran, William (Sharon) Raymond, and Michael (Vicki) Raymond, 13 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren with one on the way, many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her beloved husband Bill Raymond, parents James & Rose Ellis, brothers James (Barbara) Ellis, and Bob (Christine) Ellis. 

Dorothy retired from Lake Ridge Schools after working for 25 years in several of the School Cafeterias. She was a longtime member of Beacon Light Church and Ross Community Church. She taught Sunday School and Busy Bees for years. Her love for the Lord and her family made her a person everyone loved. She will be greatly missed!

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Rd (one block south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN, 46322 from 9:00 am to 11:30 am with a Funeral Service immediately at 11:30 am. Pastor John Hoffmaster officiating. Interment will be at Chapel Lawn in Crown Point, IN.
