Edgar Livingston

Edgar (Bud) William Livingston, age 86, of Hessville, IN, passed away Friday November 12, 2021. He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years Shirley Jean Livingston. He is survived by his sons Edgar (Barbie) Livingston, John (Terri) Livingston, and daughter Lisa (Jerry) Oberc. Grandchildren Crystal (Jim) Gvist, Shelly (Jerry) Watson, Jessica (Shane) Gulvas, Jackie Livingston, John (Kaitlyn) Livingston, Adam (Alexandra) Oberc, and Kerri Oberc. Great grandchildren Jimmy, Samantha, & Lilly Gvist, Jerry, Jalynn, & Jace Watson, Brooklynn & Austin Gulvas. Edgar comes from a large family of eight brothers and one sister. Preceded in death by Erma (Livingston) Scott, Duffy Livingston, Jimmy Livingston, Harry Livingston, Melvin Livingston, & Roger Livingston. Survived by brothers Conley (Ladon) Livingston, Clarence (Bill) Livingston, & Ernie (Michelle) Livingston.

Edgar was born and raised in Clarksburg, WV, where he met his wife Shirley and began his life as a devoted family man.  He moved his family to Hessville, IN where he spent the remainder of his life. His working career was spent at Wonder Bread Bakery. He was retired for 24 years where he spent time enjoying his family. His favorite hobbies and pastimes were fishing, bowling, and coaching softball. Edgar was greatly loved and respected by his family, friends, and neighbors, and will be dearly missed by all.

Visitation will be held at Hillside Funeral & Cremation Center at 8941 Kleinman Road, Highland, IN 46322 on Wednesday November 17, 2021 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm with a short service to follow immediately after. Internment will be at Concordia Cemetery, 6551 Calumet Ave, Hammond, IN 46324.
