Elmer W. Ross

Elmer W. Ross passed away on July 12, 2021. He was a former resident of Highland, IN, for 61 years. Elmer is survived by: daughters Linda (Daniel) Yatsko, and Sharon (Mark) Habzansky, grandchildren Jeffrey (Becky) Yatsko, and Carrie (Tim) McGrath, and great-grandchildren Benjamin & Molly Yatsko, and LIllian & Declan McGrath. Preceding him in death was his loving wife, Minerva Carmen Ross, grandson Paulie Yatsko, and brothers Robert & Jim Ross.

Elmer was a U.S Navy World War II Veteran and member of the Highland American Legion Post 180 & Highland VFW Post 1109. Elmer was retired form Cities Service & Air Products where he worked as an equipment mechanic. He was an avid fisherman who was always hoping to catch the big one to set a record.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Rd (one block south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN, 46322 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Funeral Service will be Friday, July 16, 2021 at the funeral home at 10:00 am. Interment at Calumet Park Cemetery. Pastor Bob Parnell officiating.
