Eric Radovan Damjanovic

Eric Damjanovic, age 48, of Gary, IN, passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025.

Eric is survived by his loving wife wife, Karen Damjanovic; children: Keith Durham, Allison (Patrick) Walker and Lynette Durham; six grandchildren; mother, Millie Damjanovic; brother, David (Julie) Damjanovic; niece Lyla and nephew Luke.

Eric was preceded in death by his father, Milovan Damjanovic.

Eric was a proud Union Plumber at Local 210 for 26 years. Eric loved being a volunteer firefighter. He spent 4 years at Lake Ridge Fire Department, then moved to Griffith Fire Department, for the last 3 years. Eric was very at home with his brothers and sisters at The Griffith Fire Department. Eric was also an avid bass fisherman. He loved fishing so much he started making his own jigs and selling them. Calling them Unk E Jigs because his niece and nephew called him Unk E. Eric was a loving son, brother, husband father, grandfather. uncle, and friend. He will be truly missed by all whose lives he touched. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025 from 4:00-8:00pm with a service at 7:30pm at Griffith Fire Station 3, 1601 N Indiana St, Griffith, In., 46319
