Fernando Avila, 82, of East Chicago, IN passed away peacefully Sunday. November 24, 2019. He is survived by his wife of 35 years Isidra, children: Rosalinda Burgos, Irene (Michael) Spudic, ten grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, one brother, one sister, and many additional loving family and friends.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Friday, December 6, 2019 from 12:00 - 1:30 PM at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Road, Highland, Indiana 46322. A Celebration of Life Service will follow beginning 1:30 PM, at the funeral home.
