Frank Dudek, age 83, of Highland, IN, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2025. He was born on August 29, 1942 to the late Martin and Rose Dudek.
Frank was retired from Inland Steel and a member of the 25 year club. He was a graduate of Bishop Noll High School in 1960.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Rose Dudek. Brother Edward Dudek, sisters Julie Sapyta, Helen Zemen, and Edna Petrovich.
Frank was survived by his brother-in-law, Roman (Ray) Sapyta and numerous loving nieces and nephews along with his cat Rizzo.
Frank was a life long Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears fan. He enjoyed all things gardening.
Frank was a longtime member of St. Stanislaus Church in East Chicago.
Visitation will be held Thursday, October 2, 2025 at 9:45 AM at St. James the Less Catholic Church, 9640 Kennedy Ave. Highland followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30AM with the Reverend Gregory Bin-Merle officiating.
Burial following at St. John/St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Hammond.
Donations can be made in Frank’s honor to St. Jude’s.
