George "Bucko" Rogers, 91, of Highland Indiana was escorted by angels to his Heavenly Father and eternal home on February 11, 2021. He was a lifelong resident of Highland Indiana. He served his country during the Korean War and was a Retired Operating Engineer (Heavy Equipment) Local 150. He was a Master Mason out of the Griffith Manosic Lodge and was also the First Eagle Scout of Highland Indiana along with being the Vice President of the Highland Historic Society, in which he greatly enjoyed.
George is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Pat Rogers; sons, Mark and wife Mona Rogers of Schererville, IN.; Jon and wife Maria Rogers of Greenbrier AR; Steve Rogers of Schererville, IN; daughters: Kristine and husband Michael Milhalic of Mountain Home, AR; Tina Rogers of Highland, IN.
George enjoyed his 11 Grandchildren and 27 Great Grandchildren.
Memorial service will be 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, Wednesday, February 17th, 2021 at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Rd (one block south of Ridge Rd) Highland Indiana followed by an escort to Chapel Lawn Cemetery for a brief service.
