Geraldine Frances DeLuca, "Jerry", age 95, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 31, 2021. Preceded in death by her loving husband Fred and daughter Dana Nadrotowski.
First and foremost, she was the best mother that anyone could ever ask for. Jerry was a strong independent woman and very devoted to her faith and family. A loving, kind and gentle soul with a sprinkle of sass. In her youth, Jerry was a dancer, a singer, she played the accordion and was a talented artist too. Mom was a devoted loving wife to Fred, and in their younger days enjoyed swing dancing. Visits from her great-grandchildren warmed her heart and left her smiling for days. Jerry was also a diehard Chicago Blackhawks and Chicago Cubs fan, she loved watching every game and was thrilled to experience both teams winning championships in her lifetime. God bless her soul and may the perpetual light shine upon her.
She is survived by her son William (Laura), daughter Dawn Pasyk (Dave), and sons Steven (Veronica) and Russ (Eve). Her 19 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren, her sister Alice Mata (Ruben) and many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 9, 2021 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 525 N Broad St, Griffith, IN 46319 from 9:15 am to 10:00 am with a Funeral Mass at 10:00 am, Father Keith Virus celebrating.
