Obituary
Gloria Rae Van Bruggen, 79, passed away May 24, 2023. She is survived by: Loving husband, John Bernetsky; children, Kimberly Gibson (Chuck), James W. Collins, Jr., and Kilane Jacobs(John); grandchildren, Nicholas Bruni (Robin) and Theodore Bruni; great-grandchildren Isabelle Bruni, Olivia Bruni, Charlotte Bruni and Dominic Bruni; sister Marsha Potter (Wayne) and several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by parents, William and Jeanette Van Bruggen; siblings, Calvin Van Bruggen, Jean Plymert, Phyllis Bronson and Donna LaRue.
Gloria loved her flower gardening, painting, traveling, and volunteering at Bibles for Missions.
Visitation will be Friday, May 26, 2023 at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Rd (one block south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN from 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. with Pastor Tim Huizenga from Faith Church in Highland, Indiana officiating. Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. at Skyline Cemetery at 24800 S. Governors Hwy, Monee, IL 60449.
