Henry Daniel Lares 38, of Hammond (Hessville), IN, was taken from us unexpectedly on June 7, 2025.
He is survived by his daughter Lorelai Lares, Life Partner Destinie Jimenez, Mother of his daughter Brittany Fioravanti, his Father Frank Kelly, his Brothers James (Marti) Lares, Joey (Geovana) Lares and Micheal (Jessica) Kelly, Uncles Ricardo (Lorena) Gutierrez, Freddy Smyth and Aunt Rosie (Ruben) Bribiesca and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and an endless list of friends that he considered Brothers and Sisters.
He is preceded in death by his Mother Irene Kelly, Father Andres Lares, Grandparents Enrique and Carolina Gutierrez, Cousin Peter “PJ” Santos, and Aunts, Rosario “Chayo” Cisneros, and Yolanda Alcala.
Henry was born on January 10, 1987 to Irene and Andres Lares in Laredo Texas and grew up and was raised in Hammond (Hessville) IN by his Mother Irene and Father Frank Kelly. He was known all throughout the region but was a Hessville Native to the fullest. He attended Harding Elementary, Scott Middle School, and Morton Senior High School.
Henry was truly loved by so many, he literally knew people from everywhere. Every place he went he lit up the room with his smile, and his outgoing personality. He had the biggest heart out of anyone. He would give the shirt off his back, and would give his last dollar to help someone even if he was struggling. He took time to keep in touch and stay in contact with everybody. Every person he came in contact with, he made an impression on. He was always the life of the party and center of attention wherever he was.
Henry worked numerous jobs, such as Property management, Mold and Asbetos removal, working on cell phone towers, but he took the most pride in his landscaping business that he was in the process of putting together.
Henry LOVED his daughter Lorelai with ALL of his heart. He enjoyed and loved being outdoors cooking out, swimming, and he loved dancing especially with his famous push up dance move. He loved spending time with Destinie, just going for rides to clear his mind, playing video games, watching movies, going to the casino, and loved just keeping in touch and visiting with his friends and family.
