Henry John Perez

Henry John Perez, age 72, of East Chicago, IN, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2022. He is survived by his wife Leticia; children Jessica, Flora, and Omar; his loving grandchildren, and many aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents, Manuel and Anne, and brothers Manuel and Freddy.

Henry began his career in public service as a member of the U.S Army, most notably as a military police officer in Okinawa. After returning home, Henry began working for the City of East Chicago in many departments, a career he held proudly for 25 years. Upon retirement, loved spending his time with friends & family. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held Sunday, May 15, 2022 at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Rd (one block south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN, 46322 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
