Henry, better known to his family and friends as Sonny, passed away unexpectedly in the early hours of Saturday, January 14th, 2023, in his childhood home where he lived. 
Sonny, age 56, was born April 05, 1966, to his parents, Henry A. Wachowski Jr. and Rose Ellen (Rogers) Wachowski, who survive him. He will continue to fill the heart of his loving, devoted wife of 17 years, Terri (Seeba) Wachowski and Otto, his trusty dog, who will greatly miss him.Sonny leaves behind to cherish his memory; children Jessica (Jody) Kutscher, James (fiancée Carrie) Mathews, Michael Wachowski, Matthew (fiancée Kelly) Wachowski, Alana Mills, and Clay Emonds; grandchildren Jackson, Brantley and Elana Kutscher; Avery, Penelope, Holden, Elias and River Mathews; Faustina, Raelynn and Weston Wachowski; Avianna Lizardi; Brooklyn, Ethan and Jayce Edmonds; Terri, Paige, Nevaeh and Allie Seeba; siblings Patti (Mike) Nisevich, Daniel (Dawn) Wachowski, Valerie (Craig) Sasse; brothers-in-law Michael Seeba and Rick (Linda) Seeba; sisters-in-law Angie (Robert) Sodguest and Vickie Seeba; a large family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Henry A. Wachowski Sr. and Josephine (Keilman) Wachowski, maternal grandparents Peter J. Rogers and Ellen (Coman) Rogers and his daughter Tara Seeba.

Sonny was a proud resident of Black Oak (Gary) Indiana and a graduate of Calumet High School Class of 1984. He was a self-taught auto mechanic by trade. In his younger years, Sonny could easily be found “cruising” Broadway or showing off his ‘67 Chevelle at Blue Top.

He loved to talk for hours about the ‘ins-and-outs” of any motor, and his many trips to the drag strip races.

Sonny had a huge family whom he loved dearly. His time spent with his children and grandchildren meant a lot to him. 

Visitation will be Friday, January 20, 2023, at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Road (one block south of Ridge Rd) Highland Indiana 46322 from 2:00 pm to 6:00pm. Cremation to follow. There will be no burial.
