Jacqueline Sue Harrington

Jacqueline Sue Harrington nee Baxter, age 76, of Crown Point, IN passed away peacefully on the morning of July 13, 2021. She is survived by her son, Jason (Cheryl Santucci), sister Kathy (Charley) Schutz, sister in law Beth (Dave) Saulsgiver, brothers in law Jack (Martha) Harrington, Tom (Rita) Harrington, Jim (Ginger) Harrington and many, very loved nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her beloved husband, Mike, her sister, Sandy, and her brother, Bill.

Sue’s entire career was in Optometry. She loved meeting new patients and helping them with their eyecare needs. She loved traveling and was always happy to spend time with family and friends. She especially loved to travel to Arkansas to see her many relatives there.

Later in life, she was lucky enough to gain a grandchild. Well, a granddog is more accurate. Darcy worked her way right into her heart with lots of love and kisses, whether Sue wanted them or not. Up to the very end, a Darcy story or simply mentioning Darcy’s name brought a big smile to Sue’s face.

Please join the family on Saturday, July 31, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Rd (one block south of Ridge Rd) Highland, IN, 46322 for a memorial in Sue’s honor. There will be a prayer at 4:30 pm and a dinner to follow at Teibel’s.
