Jacquelyn Homolka Obituary

Jackie R. Homolka, age 73, of Crown Point, Indiana peacefully passed away on December 27, 2025 at Franciscan hospital, in Crown Point, Indiana, her loving friend Kurt Becker at her side. 

Jackie was born March 6, 1952 in Mosinee, Wisconsin to the late Harold Miller and Chalotte (Bork) Miller. Also preceding her in death, her sisters, Joyce Vasilijevic and Patricia A Bonini.

Left to cherish her memory are Charlene Scholl (sister), and aunts and uncles, nieces/nephews. 

Jackie worked as a waitress in Chicago and Crown Point, for many years. Jackie enjoyed riding around in Kurt's car, seeing new places with him, and talking with friends and family. She also loved her cats and her dog Harley, and enjoyed to watch and listen to all different birds. Cardinals being her favorite. 

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026 beginning at 11:00am followed by a Memorial Service at 12:00pm at Hope United Methodist Church, 7320 Northcote Avenue Hammond, IN.
