Jeanette Bencze Obituary
Jeanette (Malikoff) Bencze of Crown Point, IN, formerly of Griffith IN, passed away on Monday, November 24, 2025, the day after her 83rd birthday.
She was born November 23, 1942 in Indiana Harbor, IN. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Steve, nieces and nephews David, Carol, Karen, William, Kathryn and Kristin and the “Senator Sisters” of East Chicago Washington High School.
Preceded in death by parents, Lebarit and Ankin Malikoff, brother Adam Malikoff and sisters Sylvia (William) Kachigian, and Helen (Don) Genis.
She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Griffith where she served on the parish council and worked several years at the annual parish festival.
Jeanette had a long career in real estate sales, working with Price Realtors and McColly Real Estate.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at 10:00 am at St. Mary Catholic Church, 525 N. Broad St., Griffith, IN. Visitation from 9:00am until time of Mass at the church.
