Jewell Matthews Flores, 65, of Gary, IN passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020. She is survived by her loving children: Deanna (Artty) Fowler, Elton (Nichole) Roberts, ten beloved grandchildren, three beloved great-grandchildren, loving mother Dorothy Matthews, dear siblings: Brenda (Mark) Mason, Virginia Higgins, Charles (Betty) Matthews, Fred (Flor) Matthews Jr., John (Vickey) Matthews, best friend Carolyn Holman, numerous additional loving family and friends. Jewell was preceded in death by her father Fred, and great-grandson Deklan..

Due to COVID-19 a Celebration of Life for Jewell will be held at a later date.

Jewell was the long time Bartender at the He Ain't Here Lounge, Lake Station, IN.
