John Rozanski
1945 - 2025
John Rozanski, 80, of Highland, Indiana, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2025. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, John lived a life characterized by love, hard work, and joy.
Born on February 18, 1945, in Germany, John was a 1963 graduate of Bishop Noll Institute. He dedicated much of his professional life to U.S. Steel South Works and DLZ, embodying the strong work ethic of his generation.
On September 9, 1972, John married the love of his life, Jessica Buczek, and together they built a beautiful life in Highland, raising three children and creating a warm, loving home that would become the heart of their family for over five decades.
John will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his loving wife Jessica; his children Mary Jane (Dan) Shkroba, Jason (Val) Rozanski, and Julie (Jason) Gansho; and his ten beloved grandchildren: Cade, Cali, Olivia, Jacob, Molly, JT, Noah, Grace, Jackson, and Jonathan.
A man of simple pleasures, John found joy in playing cards, reading his Bible, golfing (walking of course), and most importantly, spending time with his grandchildren. His family will always cherish memories of his playful spirit – sneaking sweets and never missing an opportunity to share a joke.
John's humble heart and gentle nature touched the lives of all who knew him. His legacy of love, laughter, and family will continue to inspire those he leaves behind.
