Jose Ruiz, 54, of Chicago, Illinois, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2020. He is survived by his loving daughters: Paloma Ruiz, Veronica Ruiz, dear parents: Jose, Lilia Ruiz, beloved siblings: Griselda (Julian) Reyes, Alejandro (Elena) Ruiz, Francisco Ruiz, Lucy (Carlos) Ruiz-Cantu, Cesar Pinal, ex wife: Argelia Najera, life partner: Tammy Simpson, and numerous additional loving family members and friends. Jose was preceded in death by his mother Angela, and brother Morris Ruiz.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic services will be private.

Jose was a lifelong catholic/christian. He was a graduate of the University of Illinois Chicago, and worked at Continental Airlines, Lakewood Engineering, the Chicago Housing Authority, and was currently the Human Resources Medical Director at Alivio Medical Center.
