Joseph Marvin Foster, 93, of Highland, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 2, 2026. Joseph is survived by his loving family - son Peter Foster, daughter Amy (Bubba) Goodman, and grandchildren Kyle Foster, Dylan and Bailey Goodman, twin sister Joan Kerner, as well as his many nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his spouse, parents, brother, brother-in laws and sister-in laws.
Joe was born July 12,1932, in Joliet, Illinois and attended Hammond Tech High School. He went on to serve our country in the Korean War. On June 20,1952, he married the love of his life Helen Hacker, and together they shared 66 years settling in Highland to raise their family. Joe retired from Lever Brothers in Whiting, Indiana with 33 years of service.
Friends and family are invited to visit with Joe's family on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, from 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM, with a memorial service in his honor being held at 11:30 AM at Hillside Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8941 Kleinman Road, Highland, Indiana, 46322.
Donations may be made in his memory to The Hospice of the Calumet Area.
